## Evidence contract

Knowledge, static, compiled, rendered, and compared are cumulative evidence levels. A symbol match is not compilation; compilation is not rendering; visual similarity cannot override semantics, accessibility, unsupported content, or security failure.

## Core rules

- VC-AI-A11Y-IMAGE-DESCRIPTION: A meaningful Image or Icon requires a content description. Null is reserved for content that is deliberately decorative.
- VC-AI-A11Y-TOUCH-TARGET: Interactive output must preserve the design-system touch-target contract and cannot use visual bounds as the only interaction bound.
- VC-AI-ANDROID-VIEW-COMMIT: Non-replayable native operations belong in AndroidView.onCommit or another documented commit boundary, not in replayable update work.
- VC-AI-ARTIFACT-REQUIRED: Every generated symbol must resolve to the exact owning artifact and version lane; aggregate artifacts are not assumed.
- VC-AI-EVIDENCE-DEPTH: Knowledge, static, compiled, rendered, and compared results are cumulative and cannot be promoted by inference.
- VC-AI-LIFECYCLE-PAIRED-WORK: Use the lifecycle-aware Flow and paired effect APIs for threshold-bound work; do not branch once on a non-observable lifecycle snapshot.

## Agent workflow

Select an exact version lane, retrieve capability and sample IDs, generate only current symbols, run static validation, compile in the tool-owned harness, render supported UI through Preview, and return the deepest evidence that passed. MCP and converters are not part of Phase 1.
